Pričujoče diplomsko delo primerja poročanje nemškoavstrijskega in slovenskega tiska o razorožitvi zelene garde, ki se je zgodila 23. 11. 1918 v Mariboru in je imela velik vpliv na današnjo geografsko podobo Slovenije. V prvem delu naloge so najprej orisani zgodovinsko ozadje dogajanja po prvi svetovni vojni na Slovenskem, Maistrova življenjska pot ter potek razorožitve zelene garde, ki je osrednja tema tega dela. Temu sledi obravnava in primerjava časopisnih člankov.

Abstract

The diploma thesis compares how Austro-German and Slovene press reported the disarmament of the Green Guard, which occurred on 23. 11. 1918 in Maribor and had a great impact on the modern geographical image of Slovenia. The first part outlines the historical background of the events following World War I on the Slovene territory, Rudolf Maister’s life and the disarmament of the Green Guard, which is the main topic of the thesis. The second part consists of an analysis and comparison of newspaper articles.
