Abstract
Prispevek predstavlja pesniško ustvarjalnost Miklavža Komelja, odličnega prevajalca, esejista in raziskovalca literature.

Abstract:
The paper presents the poetic work of Miklavž Komelj, Slovene poet, outstanding translator, essayist and literary researcher. His work in progress exemplifies the concepts of difference and otherness without parallel in contemporary Slovene poetry. He has gradually been integrating into his poetry those radical achievements of modernist and avant-garde poetry resulting from reflection on and participation in social revolution and from the rejection of capitalist culture. He thus increasingly follows the imperative that poetry should articulate the impossible and the as yet unrealised.

Keywords:Slovene literature, Slovene poetry, Slovene poets, concept of subject, concept of otherness, 21st century
