Abstract

Title:THE IMPACT OF LED STREET LIGHTING IN ROAD SAFETY
Abstract:
The purpose of the master's thesis is to investigate the already known specifics of the effects of the new LED technology on road safety, to install adapted lighting on one of the Slovenian roads on the basis of findings and legislation, and finally to assess the actual effects on safety. In this paper, I present the procedure for determining the appropriate illumination on the section of the road Volče - Peršeti, after the evaluation of the placement of lights in space, as well as the extent to which the results of computer tool calculations correspond to the measured values
