Abstract

Title:
Economic Justification of Investment in Measuring Equipment
Abstract:
Product development of a new product can be a big expense, which in many cases does not pay off. Our intention was to justify economic investment in the project and to determine breakeven point. We also wanted to create a project management plan in which we compared the methods of concurrent and sequential engineering. We came to the conclusion that the investment is profitable and that we must use the method of concurrent engineering if we want to bring the product to market in the shortest possible time and remain profitable.
