Abstract
Vedno večji okoljski problemi z vozili na notranje izgorevanje so nas pripeljali do točke, kjer vedno bolj razmišljamo o uporabi vozil na električni pogon. Zaradi ničelnih izpustov in veliko boljših karakteristik prihajajo vedno bolj v veljavo. V diplomski nalogi je opisana izgradnja močnejšega električnega kolesa s poudarkom na baterijskem sistemu. V prvem delu so opisani sestavni deli, ki so nujni za pravilno delovanje baterije. V drugem delu sem preučil degradacijo baterije, kar lahko v prihodnosti predstavlja velik okoljski vpliv zaradi odpadkov, povezanih z baterijam. V zadnjem, tretjem delu sem opravil še test zmogljivosti vseh komponent na realnem terenu.

Title:Electric bike development
Abstract:
Increasing environmental problems with internal combustion vehicles have brought us to a point where we are increasingly considering the use of electric vehicles. Due to zero emissions and much better characteristics, they are therefore becoming more and more popular. The diploma thesis describes construction of a more powerful electric bicycle with an emphasis on the battery system. First part describes components that are necessary for the proper functioning of the batteries. In the second part, I analyzed the degradation of batteries, which could have a major environmental impact in the future due to battery-related waste. In the last, third part, I also performed a performance test of all components in real terrain.
