Abstract

Title:Automotive AUTOSAR systems and their debugging
Abstract:
At a time of great technological progress, the automotive industry is also experiencing a rapid innovation development. As a result, cars contain more and more electronic control units that monitor their operation, executing millions of lines of program code in the process. To develop new functionalities and a possibility to use a variety of underlying hardware, the automotive technology giants have teamed up in the AUTOSAR association, which encourages the standardization of an automotive open system architecture. The thesis addresses the history, motivation and goals of the association, as well as describes the entire theoretical structure and operation of AUTOSAR systems in a top-down manner. Also described are numerous analysis methods used to verify the operation of electronic control units. Practical part of the thesis focuses on various ways of debugging AUTOSAR systems, analyzing their advantages and disadvantages.
