Abstract
Elektromotorji so pomembni stroji za tvorbo mehanske energije. Splošni trendi njihovega obratovanja, še posebej v avtomobilski industriji so vedno večje vrtilne hitrosti in temperature. Cilj naloge je ugotavljanje zdržljivosti rotorja z aluminijasto kletko na centrifugalno obremenitev pri povišanih temperaturah. Uporabljamo Abaqusovo okolje za simuliranje mehanskih obremenitev. V rezultatih so predstavljene kritične napetosti in pomiki ter pojav plastičnosti pri različnih temperaturnih obremenitvah. Ugotovljene so kritične vrtilne hitrosti in predlagana je optimizacija geometrije.

Title:Elastic – plastic analysis of electric motor's rotor with aluminium cage
Abstract:
Electric motors are important machines for generating mechanical energy. The general trends of their operation, especially in the automotive industry, are increasing rotational speeds and temperatures. The aim of this task is to determine the resistance of a rotor with an aluminum cage to centrifugal load at elevated temperatures. We use the Abaqus environment to simulate mechanical loads. The results present the critical stresses and displacements and the phenomenon of plasticity at different temperature loads. Critical rotational speeds are determined and geometry optimization is proposed.
