A proper assessment and analysis of granulation after blasting is crucial for effective enrichment of agglomerate in the primary phase of crushing. Not knowing about problems of non-proper grinding/milling granulation after blasting can lead to excessive crusher wear and consequently to higher production costs. The problems of obtaining good-quality granulation can nowadays be solved with computer software solutions, which can be used simply and quickly in order to get data about granulation immediately after blasting. In my thesis WipFrag software is used for granulation analysis, analysing five blastings in two quarries of Salonit Anhovo. The aim is comparison of granulation composition of blasting with that of sales-intended granulation of Salonit Anhovo as well as delivering solutions for the achievement of optimum blasting with the intention of approching the sales curve. Comparison of analysis has shown that by using suitable solutions it would be possible to improve individual factors in blasting, resulting in better crushing in the blasting process. Solutions for the improvement of granulation of blasted rocks through granulation can be obtained in various ways, all of which are presented in this thesis.
