Vpliv prevajanja pravnih besedil Evropske unije na slovenščino: analiza uredb Evropske unije v primerjavi z izvirnimi slovenskimi uredbami – diahroni pogled

Pričujoča magistrska naloga se ukvarja z vplivom prevajanja pravnih besedil Evropske unije in prenašanja zakonodaje EU v slovensko na pravno slovenščino. V prvih treh poglavjih predstavimo teoretično osnovo, in sicer pravno podlago za večjezičnost znotraj EU, načela prevajanja za EU, značilnosti pravnih besedil EU in izvirnih slovenskih pravnih besedil ter določila slovenskih in francoskih jezikovnih priročnikov. Predstavimo metodologijo in utemeljimo izbiro gradiva. Osrednji del naloge je analiza, za potrebe katere smo iz uredb EU v francoščini in prevedeni slovenščini ter izvirnih slovenskih uredb sestavili zbirko besedil. Besedila smo razdelili na dve časovni obdobji (1991–2004 in 2005–2018) ter jih tako tudi analizirali. V sklepnem poglavju komentiramo rezultate izvedene analize in potrdimo hipoteze, ki kažejo na to, da se je z vstopom v EU pravna slovenščina spremenila.

• Title: The Impact of the Translation of Legal Texts of the European Union on the Slovenian Language: The Analysis of Regulations of the European Union in Comparison with Original Slovenian Regulations – a Diachronic Aspect

Abstract

The present Master's thesis focuses on the impact the translation of EU legal texts and the transposition of EU legislation to Slovenian legislation have on the original legal Slovenian. In the first three chapters, we set the theoretical framework for the following research. We define the legal basis of the multilingualism in the EU, the stylistic characteristics of EU and original Slovenian legal texts, as well as the rules stated in Slovenian and French language manuals. The main part of this thesis is the analysis. Firstly, we set out the methodology and establish our reasons for the choice of texts. We built a collection of texts comprising EU regulations in French and Slovenian, as well as original Slovenian legal texts. The texts are divided in two time periods (1991–2004 and 2005–2018) and are analysed as such. In the final chapter, we comment on the results and confirm the hypothesis that legal Slovenian changed with the accession to the EU.
