Sarkofagi in pepelnice Petovione: Analiza oblik in strukture z rekonstrukcijo in prezentacijo

V nalogi so zbrani izbrani marmorni kosi sarkofagov in pepelnic, ki so bili najdeni na Ptuju in v njegovi okolici. Zbrani so v katalogu in so bili osnova nalogi, ki skuša z izrisi omenjenih kosov in analizo daljše stranice skrinj priti do logičnega načina oblikovanja sheme tridelne delitve skrinje. Poleg izrisov je bila narejena tudi rekonstrukcija tistih fragmentov skrinj, ki so bile dovolj ohranjene, da je ta bila mogoča. Rekonstrukcija in postopek oblikovanja tridelne sheme sta bila narejena s pomočjo aplike Brunesove zvezde na skrinje. Tridelna delitev je delitev daljše, prednje stranice na tri dele, in sicer na dve stranski polji, ki sta bili namenjeni reliefni upodobitvi, in eno daljše, srednje polje, ki je bilo večinoma namenjeno napisu. Znotraj tridelne sheme se pojavlja nekaj osnovnih razlik. Srednje polje je namreč lahko poglobljeno, lahko pa je srednje polje brez poglobitve.

• Title: Sarcophagi and Ossuaries in Poetovia: Analysis of shapes and structures through reconstruction and presentation

Abstract

The presented thesis gathers marble pieces from sarcophagi and ossuaries found in Ptuj and its surrounding areas. They are gathered in a catalogue presenting the basis for this work. The paper combines drawings of the mentioned pieces with analysis of the long sides of the chests. It aims to reach a logical explanation of the way the chest's tripartite division was designed. Additionally, a reconstruction of the fragments from the chests, where able, was carried out. Both reconstruction and the designing procedure of the tripartite division were achieved with the aid of the Brunes star’s projection on the chests. The tripartite division is the division of the longer, front side, two side sections used for relief depictions and a longer, front side, used for inscriptions. Several main differences emerge when comparing the tripartite divisions. One of which is the occasional deepening of the middle field.
