Abstract
V magistrski nalogi avtorica na podlagi lidarskih posnetkov poskuša prepoznati kako so bile gomile in druge arheološke značilnosti umeščene v prostor. V prvem delu predstavi koncepte preučevanja krajine s poudarkom na gibanju v krajini in gomilah. Nato poda tudi kratek pregled zgodovine raziskovanja dolenjske prazgodovine in razčlenitev najpogostejših poselitvenih struktur na tem območju. V drugem delu avtorica omeji študijsko območje na Mirnsko dolino, kjer s pomočjo GIS analize poskuša prepoznati vzorce umeščanja arheoloških značilnosti v krajino. Zanima jo povezava med gomilami in ugreznjenimi potmi ter njihova lega v krajini.

Title:The Perception of Barrows in Landscape
Abstract:
The author of this thesis attempts to identify the patterns in which barrows were situated in the landscape. In the first part of the thesis, the author explains different concepts of landscape studies with emphasis on movement and barrows. The author also gives an overview of the important prehistoric studies and the most common settlement structures in the Dolenjska region. In the second part of the thesis, the author focuses on the Mirna valley where she uses GIS analyses to attempt to identify the patterns of archaeological remains in the landscape. The author is interested in the connection between barrows and holloways and their location in the landscape.
