Vpliv vadbe za moč na nekatere gibalne sposobnosti starostnikov

Abstract
Namen magistrskega dela je bil preveriti vpliv vadbe za moč na nekatere gibalne sposobnosti starostnikov. V raziskavo smo vključili 20 starostnikov iz ruralnega območja Slovenije. Vsi so bili brez posebnih gibalnih težav, ki bi jim onemogočale izvedbo vadbenega programa in testne baterije, s katero smo preverjali vpliv vadbe na moč, aktivno gibljivost ter statično ravnotežje. Testna baterija je bila sestavljena iz izbranih testov »Senior fitness testa«, »UKK testa« in »FMS testne baterije«. Izbrali smo dva testa moči: »vstajanje s stola« in »upogib in izteg komolca«, dva testa aktivne gibljivosti: »dotik stopala v sedečem položaju« in »dotik za hrbtom« ter test statičnega ravnotežja: »test stoje na 1 nogi«. Izvedli smo tudi test ocene funkcionalnosti gibanja, ki vrednoti moč, gibljivost ter ravnotežje: »prestopanje ovire« in test vzdržljivosti »2-minutno stopanje na mestu«. Eksperimentalna skupina (10 oseb) je tekom 10-tedenskega programa vadbe za moč izvajala 2 krat tedensko 10 vaj za moč (za zgornje okončine, spodnje okončine in za trup) ter začetno in končno testiranje. Kontrolna skupina pa je izvedla samo začetno in končno testiranje. Obe skupini sta tekom programa izvajali vse aktivnosti, ki jih sicer izvajajo ob stalnem urniku. Testiranje je potrdilo naše hipoteze, torej lahko na osnovi rezultatov potrdimo, da vadba za moč neposredno poveča moč, posredno pa tudi aktivno gibljivost in statično ravnotežje starostnikov.

Title:Effects of strength exercise on physical ability of elderly
Abstract:
The purpose of this master thesis was to find effects of resistance training on strength, active mobility and static balance on elderly. In this research we included 20 elderly participants from rural part of Slovenia. All of them were without major contraindication for strength exercises and test battery (tests tasks which allow us data collecting for analysing progress in strength, active mobility and static balance. Our test battery included some test from »Senior fitness test battery«, »UKK test battery and »FMS test battery«. We decided to use two strength tests: »chair stand test« and »arm curl test«, two tests for active mobility: »chair sit and reach test« and »back scratch test«, static balance test: »stork balance stand test« and one test for movement functionality which measures strength, mobility and balance together: »hurdle step« and aerobic endurance test »2-min step test«. Experimental group (n=10) was over 10-week period performing strength exercises prescribed within programme for strength developing. This programme included 10 exercises for strength (upper limb, lower libs and trunk). Both control (n=10) and experimental group also performed test battery before and after 10-week programme. Both groups were unrestricted with any other activities in normally daily schedule. Test confirmed our hypothesis which means that exercises for strength can improve strength level directly and active mobility and static balance indirectly.
