While selecting the topic of the master's thesis, we focused on the Levstik Trail, which is one of the most visited hiking trails in Slovenia, with the aim of developing comprehensive geoinformation support for its visitors. The thesis is based on the development of web geoinformation applications Po Levstikovi poti, Predstavitev severne trase Levstikove poti and Predstavitev južne trase Levstikove poti. For the needs of future monitoring of visits and evaluation of service providers on the Levstik Trail, we have developed two web questionnaires and a web geoinformation application O obisku Levstikove poti. We mainly used ESRI software to create web geoinformation applications and web questionnaires. Links to the applications and questionnaires are available on the website of the Levstik Trail. We also conducted a field test of the web geoinformation application Po Levstikovi poti and a web survey on the evaluation of web geoinformation applications intended for visitors of the Levstik Trail, and also an interview with the caretaker of the Levstik Trail. Thus, we obtained feedback on the usability, operation and possible implementation of the developed geoinformation support. In the concluding part, we presented the results of the conducted research and made suggestions for further development of geoinformation support to the visitors of the trail.
