Ovire na poti do zdravja: Ranljivosti in neenakosti v zdravju v Prekmurju in drugih predelih severovzhodne Slovenije

Magistrsko delo obravnava ranljivosti in neenakosti v dostopu do zdravstvenega sistema in drugih storitev ter oblik pomoči, ki lahko vplivajo na zdravje posameznika, kar prikaže na primerih zaznanih v raziskavi ranljivosti na območju severovzhodne Slovenije. Pri tem analizira okoliščine, ki vplivajo na življenje in zdravje ranljivih oseb. Avtorica se posebej ustavi ob ovirah, ki se pojavljajo na poti do zdravja in prikaže na preplete ranljivosti. V teoretičnem delu predstavi zgodovino javnega zdravja v Sloveniji in začetke udejstvovanja antropologov in antropologinj na tem področju. Nadaljuje s predstavitvijo neenakosti in ranljivosti v zdravju, ki je osrednja tema celotnega magistrskega dela. Posebno poglavje posveti revščini in zdravstveni nezavarovanosti, ki ju je tekom raziskovanja prepoznala kot ključni dimenziji ranljivosti, ki prečita različne ranljive skupine. Magistrsko delo sklene s prikazom prepletov ranljivosti v posameznih raziskovalnih okoljih, s fokusom na ranljivosti, ki izhajajo iz starosti, zdravstvenih stanj, etničnega ozadja in spola.

• Title: Overcoming Obstacles to Health: Vulnerabilities and Inequalities of People in the Health Field in Prekmurje and Other Parts of Northeastern Part of Slovenia

Abstract

Master thesis deals with vulnerabilities and inequalities in the access of the health system and other forms of help which may influence on the health of an individual and is presented on the examples included in the research of the vulnerability in the northeastern part of Slovenia. There is an analysis of circumstances which have an influence on life and health of the vulnerable groups.The author has stopped at the obstacles which have occured on the way to health and therefore connecting vulnerabilities. In the theoretical part the history of the public health in Slovenia is introduced and the beginning of the participation of anthropologists on this field is presented. Introduction of inequalities and vulnerabilities is the central theme of this work. The specific part is focused on poverty and health uninsurance of people, which are two main dimensions of vulnerability and vulnerable groups. Master thesis has concluded with the display of different vulnerabilities in the individual research environment with the focus on vulnerability, caused by age, healthstate, ethnical background and sex.
