Abstract
Diplomsko delo skuša osvetliti sodobno problematiko bivanja v domžalskem mestnem jedru, natančneje v stanovanjsko – poslovnem bloku SPB-1. Kompleks obravnava zgodovinsko in ga kontekstualizira v polju procesa urbanizacije Domžal.

Title:Residential and Commercial Block SPB-1, ʺBlack Widowʺ of Domžale City: Following Traces of Architectural Heritage of Domžale City Center
Abstract:
The undergraduate thesis attempts to illuminate the contemporary issues of living in Domžale city center, more specifically in the Residential and Commercial block SPB-1. It deals with the history of a building in the context of urbanization of Domžale. It addresses the issues with its unsuitable and unaesthetic embedment inside the city center. Furthermore, it presents the contemporary discourses of a building that are created by residents and citizens and it illuminates the main problems that decelerate its revitalization. Because the building is part of a negative architectural heritage, its future is uncertain. Namely, it is on the individual to assess the processes of renovations and social awareness of what's worth preserving.

Keywords:Domžale, urbanization, city center, architectural anthropology, negative architectural heritage
