Diplomsko delo opisuje načrtovanje ter postopek avtomatizacije linije v farmacevtskih podjetjih. Uvodoma so opisana načela delovanja in dokumentiranja sistema, katerim sledi opis programske in strojne opreme. Nadalje naloga opisuje izdelavo funkcijske specifikacije, nadzornega in krmilnega sistema. Na koncu je opisano še vrednotenje, ki je ključno za uspešno zaključen projekt.

• Title: Automation of a production line in a pharmaceutical company

Abstract

This diploma thesis describes planning and the process of automation design in pharmaceutical companies. In the beginning, the thesis describes some basic principles of system operation and documenting, followed by the description of implemented software and hardware equipment. Afterwards, development of functional specification, control system and supervision system are described. Finally, the thesis concludes with the validation of the system, which is crucial for a successfully completed project.
