Brezdomne ženske na poti skozi institucije

Magistrska naloga se osredotoča na ženske z izkušnjo brezdomstva, ki so se na svoji poti skozi institucije znašle v sistemu vrtljivih vrat. V teoretičnem delu sem najprej predstavila ključna spoznanja o brezdomstvu in natančneje pojasnila značilnosti brezdomstva, kot ga doživljajo ženske, nato pa osvetlila koncept vrtljivih vrat. Empirični del v ospredje postavlja izkušnje štirih žensk z življenjem na ulici in potmi skozi različne institucije, širino pa mu dodaja pomožni kvantitativni del s krajšim anketnim vprašalnikom, čigar vzorec je številčnejši. Z nalogo želim osvetliti teme ženskega brezdomstva in preko raziskovalnih ugotovitev opozoriti na problematiko neuspelega kroženja med institucijami ter morda odpreti prostor za razvoj drugačnih praks.

• Title: Visits of homeless women to the institutions

Abstract

The thesis focuses on homeless women experiencing a revolving door effect on their journey through institutions. Firstly I introduce key findings on homelessness in general. Then I describe women's experiences of homelessness and highlight the revolving door concept. The empirical part focuses on four women's experiences with their pathways through homelessness and their journey through different institutions. For a broader perspective the empirical part includes a short questionairre based on a more numerous sample of homeless women. I expect the thesis will highlight the problematic revolving door effect amongst homeless women and encourage discussion on developing different practices.
