Emotions are an important part of human life. They are processes that express a person's value to the outside world or to themselves. The thesis explores the influence of emotions on behaviour and other mental processes related to art. The focus is on connecting emotions and mental disorders and therefore removing the stigma, borne by these topics. In doing so, the focus is on the analysis of colours and strokes. Attention to colours in artistic creativity is important and at the same time necessary, as they have an extraordinary power and influence on the constitution of the pictorial field about which the viewer strives to decode the message and the idea of the work of art itself. The colours used by the painter are no less realistic than the figures. We understand colours as something subjective, intuitive and/or expressive. This can be translated as very typical of aesthetic feelings and emotions. The practical part of the thesis will have a dual role, the process of creating these paintings as sort of therapy and the final products as a presentation of the topic itself.
