Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na proučevanje sreče zaposlenih v delovnem okolju med zaposlenimi v javni upravi in nekaterih organizacijah v zasebnem sektorju. Predstavili smo pojmovanje sreče na splošno in pojmovanje sreče v delovnem okolju, kjer smo del pozornosti namenili tudi poklicu skrbnik sreče zaposlenih v delovnem okolju, in sicer njegovim kompetencam, zadolžitvam, možnostim zaposlitve in izobrazbi. Izbrano področje sreče zaposlenih v delovnem okolju smo se odločili raziskati, ker ima sreča zaposlenih v delovnem okolju številne pozitivne posledice tako za posameznika oziroma zaposlenega, kot tudi celotno organizacijo in ker se tovrstnih pozitivnih posledic v nekaterih organizacijah premalo zavedajo. Posledično organizacije ne dosegajo željenih rezultatov, zaposleni pa so tretjino svojega življenja, ki ga preživijo v delovnem okolju nesrečni. S pomočjo rezultatov raziskave diplomskega dela ugotavljamo, da imajo zaposleni v zasebnih organizacijah v povprečju višjo raven sreče (AS=3,87) kot zaposleni v javni upravi (AS=3,33). Na podlagi raziskave smo prišli tudi do ugotovitve, da imajo anketiranci, ki imajo v delovnem okolju zaposlenega skrbnika sreče zaposlenih višjo raven sreče v primerjavi s tistimi anketiranci, ki v delovnem okolju nimajo skrbnika sreče zaposlenih in da so razlike med ravnjo sreče statistično značilne (p-vrednost=0,000). Rezultati tudi kažejo, da imajo anketiranci z daljšo delovno dobo nižjo raven sreče v primerjavi z anketiranci s krajšo delovno dobo, a razlike niso statistično značilne (p-vrednost=0,423). Glede na nizko raven sreče zaposlenih v javni upravi predlagamo implementacijo skrbnika sreče zaposlenih v javno upravo in to na način, da postane skrbnik sreče zaposlenih nekdo od že zaposlenih v organizaciji, ki ima potrebne kompetence oziroma kaže potencial za takšno vlogo. Slednjega pa se potem z ustreznimi izobraževalnimi programi usposobi za opravljanje vloge skrbnika sreče zaposlenih v delovnem okolju.

Title:EMPLOYEE HAPPINESS IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
Abstract:
This undergraduate thesis focuses on the study of employee happiness in their work environment among the employees in public administration and in some private sector organizations. It presents the concept of happiness in general and the concept of happiness in the work environment, where part of the attention is also paid to the profession of employee workplace happiness officer, namely their competencies, responsibilities, employment opportunities and education. We decided to research the selected area of employee happiness in the work environment because the happiness of employees in the work environment has many positive consequences for individual employees as well as the entire organization, and because some organizations are not sufficiently aware of such positive consequences. As a result, organizations do not achieve the desired results, and employees are unhappy for a third of their lives spent in the work environment. Using the results of the thesis research, it has been found that employees in private organizations have on average a higher level of happiness (AS = 3.87) than employees in public administration (AS = 3.33). Based on the research, it has also been concluded that respondents who have an employee workplace office happiness employed in their work environment have a higher level of happiness compared to those respondents who do not have an employee workplace happiness officer in their work environment, and that differences between happiness levels are statistically significant (p-value = 0.000). The results also show that respondents with longer working lives have a lower level of happiness compared to those respondents with shorter working lives, but the differences are not statistically significant (p-value = 0.423). Given the low level of happiness of public administration employees, it is proposed to implement employee workplace happiness officer in public administration in such a way that one of the present employees in the organization, who has the necessary competencies, or shows potential for such a role, becomes the workplace happiness officer of employees. This person shall then be trained through appropriate educational programs to perform the role of employee workplace happiness officer.
