Abstract
Diplomska naloga zajema preiskavo bentonitnih peščenih mešanic, ki se uporabljajo za izdelavo enkratnih form na avtomatskih formarskih linijah. Preiskava obsega različne peščene mešanice, ki se sestojijo iz osnovnega ognje-obstojnega materiala - kremena, ter bentonita in dodatkov za tvorbo svetlečega ogljika. Delo bo izvedeno na dveh osnovnih ognjevzdržnih materialih - kremenovih peskih, ki sta po poreklu iz domačega peskokopa Termit in nemškega Quartz Werke Strobel. V eksperimentalnem delu bomo v livarskem laboratoriju eksperimentalno opredeljevali naslednje lastnosti: količino vode, tlačno trdnost, razkolno trdnost, strižno trdnost, propustnost, stisljivost, nasipno gostoto, natezno trdnost kondenzacijske cone, delež odpranih snovi in delež aktivne gline. Nadalje je bila izvedena tudi sejalno analizo, pri kateri je bila opredeljena srednja velikost zrn, stopnja enakomernosti, količina in velikost podzrn in nadzrn. Izvedeno je tudi merjenje dejanske specifične površine, izračunana je tudi teoretična. Na osnovi obeh rezultatov je izračunan koeficient oglatosti, ki je primerjan z mikroskopskimi posnetki preiskovanih peskov. Delo obsega tako analizo industrijske peščene mešanice, kot tudi sintezo lastne laboratorijske.

Title:Research of a bentonite sand mixture for the manufacture of disposable casting moulds
Abstract:
The diploma thesis covers the investigation of bentonite sand mixtures used for the production of disposable molds on automatic molding lines. The investigation includes various sand mixtures consisting of a base fire-resistant material-quartz, as well as bentonite and additives for the formation of luminous carbon. The work will be carried out on two basic refractory materials - quartz sands, which originate from the domestic sand pit Termit and the German Quartz Werke Strobel. In the experimental part, the foundry laboratory will experimentally define the following properties: water quantity, compressive strength, crack strength, shear strength, permeability, compressibility, bulk density, tensile strength of the condensation zone, proportion of sludge, proportion of active clay. Furthermore, we will also perform a sowing analysis, which will define the average grain size, the degree of uniformity, the quantity and size of subgrains and supergrains. A measurement of the actual specific area will also be performed. Theoretical will also be calculated. Based on the bobe results, an angularity coefficient will be calculated that will be compared with microscopic images of the sands examined. The work includes both the analysis of the industrial sand mixture as well as the synthesis of our own laboratory.
