Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja pregled koordinacijskih spojin bakra(II) s piperazinom in nekaterimi monosubstituiranimi piperazini. Poleg koordinacijskih zvrsti s piperazinom so v pregled vključene še spojine z 1-metilpiperazinom, 1-etilpiperazinom in N-(2-hidroksietil)piperazinom. Pregled je osredotočen na način vezave piperazinskega liganda v koordinacijski zvrsti. Koordinacijskih spojin bakra s piperazinom je veliko, z ostalimi derivati piperazina pa znatno manj. V koordinaciji lahko sodelujeta eden ali oba dušikova atoma. V nekaterih zvrsteh pa srečamo tudi protonirano obliko liganda, ki se koordinira preko neprotonirane aminske skupine.

Title:Piperazine and its derivatives as ligands in copper(II) coordination compounds
Abstract:
The study presents a survey of copper(II) complexes with piperazine and some of its substituted derivatives. It includes apart from piperazine complexes also the ones with 1-methylpiperazine, 1-ethylpiperazine and N-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine. The survey is focused on the piperazine coordination mode. There are many complexes with piperazine and markedly less with other ligands. One or both amine nitrogen atoms are seen to participate in coordination to the metal. Some complexes reveal also a protonated form of the ligand that is coordinated through the non-protonated amine moiety.
