Comic books are a very extensive and popular form of storytelling. In my thesis, I will focus on researching the history of comics; to whom it is intended and what its beginnings were. I will explore the genres of comics and especially humorous and detective comics. I will place my work in the field of illustration. I will find and analyze the authors of this comic genre in the analytical research part of the assignment, which will help me to create my own comic book. The target audience in my comics will be adolescents and young adults. I will focus on the process of making a comic book from the initial design to the final product, which will be in the form of a maquette. In the practical part, special attention will be paid to the story structure and the design and illustration of the main characters of the comic. I want to create a detective comic book that will have a comedic approach.
