Abstract
Diplomska naloga rešuje problem spremljanja sidra plovila in zagotavljanja, da je plovilo varno zasidrano. Vse trenutne rešitve ta problem rešujejo s spremljanjem lokacije samega plovila, kar v veliko primerih ni dovolj zanesljivo.

Title:Low cost computer system for underwater visual inspection
Abstract:
This thesis is solving the problem of monitoring our vessels anchor and ensuring that our vessel is safely anchored. All current solution solve this problem by monitoring the position of the vessel itself, which is in many cases not reliable enough. Visual monitoring of the anchor, however, is impossible without diving. Our system solves this problem with a buoy attached to the anchor with a cable. Inside is a GPS module that tracks its position in real time. This module is connected to a Raspberry Pi computer running a web server through which we can access this data with a mobile device. We connect to the server through a mobile access point. An IP camera is also connected to the Raspberry Pi via an UTP cable, which is under water a few meters above the anchor, facing the anchor. We can connect to the server through our developed web application, where we can monitor the location of the anchor in real time, get a warning if the anchor moves too much, and monitor the anchor visualy via video from the camera.
