Abstract
Podrobno predstavimo kompetenčni model učitelja DigCompEdu in stopnje učiteljeve kompetentnosti.

Title:ANALYSIS OF ICT USE IN EDUCATION SYSTEM DURING THE CORONAVIRUS EPIDEMIC
Abstract:
This diploma work is based on an analysis of the use of information and communications technology in education during the coronavirus epidemic, when the whole process was moved to distance learning. ICT has been introduced into the schooling system slowly and gradually over several decades. A problem occurred when changes concerning the use of ICT needed to be implemented in a very short amount of time. This is the case in the current situation, where ICT that had been used before the declaration of the epidemic does not suffice for the efficient execution of remote teaching. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis studies the background of the Slovene schooling system and its levels of education. It focuses on the development of ICT in the schooling system in general as well as in the Slovene scholing system. Teaching approaches where ICT is used are described as well, for example classical learning, e-learning, blended learning and distance learning. ICT brings many advantages to the process of teaching, learning and development. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes the role of a teacher while working with ICT and presents a competency model as well as the competency framework for teachers. The empirical part is based on an analysis of a survey carried out among secondary school teachers asking them about the use of ICT during the coronavirus epidemic. The results of the survey showed that throughout the epidemic and distance learning process the respondents had to use teaching methodes that involved more ICT. Older generations of respondents had more difficulties working with ICT than younger ones. Some differences in the perception of feeling overwhelmed by the necessity to use ICT were noticed among the respondents, women teachers feeling more burdened by it than men teachers.
