Abstract
Merilna instrumentacija za zajem in pretvorbo električnih signalov iz analogne v digitalno domeno zahteva uporabo AD-pretvornikov. Za razvoj merilnih inštrumentov je potrebno dobro poznavanje zmogljivosti uporabljenega sistema AD-pretvornikov, saj lahko samo tako ovrednotimo pričakovano natančnost zajetega signala in zmogljivost inštrumenta pri specifični aplikaciji. Z dobrim poznavanjem zmogljivostnih karakteristik pri ustreznih pogojih se lažje odločamo o smiselnosti razvoja z uporabo določene tehnologije, ter bolj zanesljivo ovrednotimo prednosti sistema v razvoju glede na obstoječe rešitve. Radiofrekvenčni sistemi na integriranem vezju (RFSoC) so namenjeni razvoju naprav za obdelavo signalov pri visokih frekvencah. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil preučiti RFSoC proizvajalca Xilinx, ki vsebuje hitre analogno-digitalne pretvornike ter programirljivo logiko za obdelavo signalov. Razviti je bilo potrebno testni digitalni sistem za zajem večjega bloka podatkov v pomnilnik programirljivega vezja in prenos le-teh na osebni računalnik. Sistem je bil realiziran in preizkušen na razvojni plošči ZCU111.

Title:Signal Acquisiton with Radio Frequency System-on-Chip
Abstract:
Measuring instrumentation requires using Analog-to-Digital converters. The development of measuring instruments requires a good knowledge of the performance of the AD converter system used, as this is the only way to evaluate the expected accuracy of the captured signal and the performance of the instrument in a specific application. With good knowledge of AD converter's characteristics, we can decide about their benefits in the systems to be developed. Integrated Circuit Radio Frequency (RFSoC) systems are designed to develop high frequency signal processing devices. The aim of the thesis was to study the RFSoC of the manufacturer Xilinx, which contains fast analog-to-digital converters and programmable logic for signal processing. It was necessary to develop a digital test system in order to capture a larger block of data in the memory of a programmable circuit and transfer them to a personal computer. The system was implemented and tested on a development board ZCU111.
