Abstract

Title:Research of current technologies of materials processing in the electrical industry
Abstract:
The study analyses current technologies of materials processing used in electrical industry. Focus was on two materials, graphite and ceramics. The most widely used technology for processing of both materials is milling. Due to brittle properties of graphite and ceramics, process faces many more challenges compared to milling of more ductile materials, such as steel. Study is presenting how to meet these challenges and get quality treated surfaces.

Keywords:graphite, ceramics, electrical industry, materials processing, milling, micromilling
