Vpliv različnih tiskarskih past na tisk z barvili ekstraktov invazivnih rastlin

Abstract
Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati in preveriti uporabnost različnih tiskarskih past pri pripravi tiskarskih barv z barvili iz invazivnih rastlin za tiskanje na papir in tekstil. Pripravljenih je bilo enajst sitotiskarskih barv iz različnih tiskarskih past ter treh naravnih barvil, pridobljenih iz cvetov zlate rozge, listov japonskega dresnika ter cvetov žlezave nedotike. Tiskarske barve so bile pripravljene v dveh koncentracijah. Tiskane so bile na bombažno in poliestrno tkanino ter na tri papirje, izdelane iz stebla japonskega dresnika različnih gramatur ter na dva komercialna papirja – prvega iz primarnih celuloznih vlaken ter drugega iz sekundarnih celuloznih vlaken. Vsi odtisi so bili barvnometrično ovrednoteni, nato pa je sledilo testiranje samih odtisov na različne obstojnosti. Odtisi z ekstraktom zlate rozge so rumenkaste barve, odtisi z ekstraktom japonskim dresnikom so zelenkaste barve, odtisi z ekstraktom žlezave nedotike so vijoličaste barve. Vsi odtisi na papirju imajo dobre do zelo dobre obstojnosti na suho drgnjenje. Vsi odtisi na tkaninah imajo odlične obstojnosti na suho in mokro drgnjenje, prav tako na mokro-vroče likanje. Pralne obstojnosti odtisov na tkaninah pa so nekoliko slabše. Najslabše obstojnosti daje tiskarska barva z ekstraktom žlezave nedotike, na pralne obstojnosti pa vpliva tudi vrsta tiskarske paste v kombinaciji z določenim barvilom. Odtisi imajo slabe svetlobne obstojnosti, po osvetljevanju pobledijo. Najboljše svetlobne obstojnosti imajo odtisi z ekstraktom zlate rozge, najslabše pa odtisi z ekstraktom japonskega dresnika, kjer na svetlobne obstojnosti vpliva tudi vrsta tiskarske paste.

Title:The effect of different printing pastes on prints with colourants made out of invasive plants
Abstract:
The purpose of the diploma thesis was to research and test applicability of various printing pastes in the preparation of printing inks with dyes extracted from invasive plants for printing on paper and textiles. Eleven screen printing inks with various printing pastes and three natural dyes obtained from the flowers of goldenrod, leaves of Japanese knotweed and flowers of Himalayan balsam were prepared. Printing inks were prepared in two concentrations and printed on cotton and polyester fabric, as well as three papers made from the stem of Japanese knotweed of different grammage and two commercial papers, one made of primary cellulose and the other of secondary cellulose. All prints were colorimetrically evaluated and resistance tested. Prints with goldenrod extract have a yellow tinge, prints with Japanese knotweed extract have a green tinge and prints with Himalayan balsam extract are purple. All prints on paper have good to very good dry rubbing resistance. All prints on fabrics have excellent resistance to dry and wet rubbing as well as to wet-hot ironing. The fastness of the prints on fabrics to washing is somewhat less good, while the printing ink with Himalayan balsam extract shows the least durability. Colour fastness to washing is also affected by the type of printing paste in combination with a certain colourant. The prints have poor fastness to light and fade after being exposed to artificial light. The prints with goldenrod extract have the best light fastness and the prints with Japanese knotweed extract have the poorest, where light fastness also depends on printing paste.
