Abstract
V pričujočem diplomskem delu je pregled koordinacijskih spojin cinka(II) s piperazinom in tremi derivati piperazina, 1-metilpiperazinom, 1-etilpiperazinom in N-(2-hidroksietil)piperazinom, z znanimi kristalnimi strukturami. Literaturni pregled je bil narejen z uporabo kristalografske baze podatkov CSD, dobljeni rezultati pa so bili analizirani s pomočjo programa Mercury. Pri analizi nas je zanimal način vezave liganda na cinkov(II) ionin v primeru nepričakovanih načinov tudi vpliv sinteznih pogojev na slednjega.

Title:Zinc(II) coordination chemistry with piperazine and derivatives
Abstract:
The presented work gives an overview of the known coordination compounds of zinc(II) with piperazine and its three substituted derivatives, i.e., 1-methylpiperazine, 1-ethylpiperazine and N-(2-hydroxyethyl)pieprazine, as ligands. Compounds with known crystal structures were subjected to this study. Crystallographic database CSD was surveyed. The program Mercury was used to analyse the results of the literature survey. The study has focused on the ligands' binding modes. A correlation with the synthetic conditions was sought in case of unexpected coordination modes.
