Abstract

Title:
Topology optimization of dynamic properties of a bicycle frame
Abstract:
This work presents the topology optimization of the dynamic properties of the bicycle frame. The finite element method and modal analysis process are showcased on two basic examples. This finite element method serves as the basis for the subsequent implementation of the topology optimization. Both the modal analysis and the topology optimization process are then used in the ANSYS programming package. The bicycle frame analysis is carried out on the basis of driving on a bicycle track. The breakdown of the achieved results and a brief comment on the subject itself are presented in the conclusion of this work.
