The purpose of this work is to present the administrative procedure, the course of it and to examine in particular the service in administrative procedures, which are part of everyday life and in which about ten million orders are issued annually. As we currently live in the age of digital technology, I wanted to check whether the administrative bodies also use modern methods of service in their business and service, or whether they still use predominantly the traditional method.
The diploma work required secondary research, ie the study of various acquired sources and literature. The theoretical part was created using the descriptive method, the dogmatic and normative method, with which I researched various sources. I studied various domestic and foreign literature, as well as legal sources. In the empirical part, I studied the hypothesis that referred to the service methods of documents of public authorities nowadays, which I later confirmed on the basis of a comparison of methods of service through interviews.
As part of the analysis of the interviews, I found that despite modern digital technology, the service of administrative bodies is still largely in paper form. However, business and communication between public authorities are increasingly taking place in electronic form, which can increase crisis situations such as in the coronavirus era.
