Abstract
Živimo v času hitrega napredka tehnologije, kar je privedlo do tega, da obstaja vse več naprav, ki nam lajšajo vsakodnevno življenje. Dober primer so gospodinjski aparati brez katerih si ne znamo več predstavljati življenja. Ker pa so nekateri gospodinjski aparati zelo hrupni, podjetja težijo k zmanjšanju zvočne moči aparata, s čimer želijo narediti izdelek privlačnejši potrošnikom. V diplomski nalogi smo si pogledali, kako lahko izboljšamo zvočno izolirnost pločevinaste stranice kondenzacijskega sušilnega stroja. Izdelali smo leseno ohišje v obliki škatle, s stenami visoke zvočne izolirnosti. Vanjo smo vstavili zvočnik in ga zaprli z merjenim vzorcem pločevinaste stranice. Vpetje le-te na škatlo je bilo togo. S tem smo simulirali pritrditev stranice na kondenzacijski sušilni stroj. Zanimalo nas je, kako se spreminja zvočna izolirnost pločevinaste stranice, če ji povečujemo površinsko gostoto tako, da nanjo dodamo plast granuliranega materiala oziroma plast vode. Ugotovili smo, da 39 mm plast dodane vode izboljša zvočno izolirnost obstoječe stranice za 2 dB.

Title:
Sound insulation measurement of steel plates for tumble dryer with added granular material and water layer
Abstract:
We live in time with great technology progress and the result of that is big selection of devices that make our lives easier. Good example are home appliances, without which many of us cannot imagine life anymore. Since many of the devices make a lot of noise during operating, the companies have started to look into sound power reduction to make devices more appealing to customers. In an assignment we have tried to improve sound insulation of steel plates for tumble dryer. We have made a wooden housing with high sound insulation in which we have inserted sound speaker and sealed the box with steel plate from tumble dryer. We have fastened the steel plate on wooden box with screws to simulate the same conditions as in tumble dryer. Materials used for improving sound insulation were sand and water. We have found out that 39 mm thick layer of water improves sound insulation of steel plate for 2 dB.
