The development of microelectronics and information-communication technologies has enabled great progress in the fields of robotics, industrial automation, and computer control. With the further development of wireless communication technologies, the management of remote controlled systems, including systems intended for education, has become increasingly more important, as the share of education and distance work is increasing. In this master's thesis, we present a web interface for the management and control of a mobile robot system with the use of robotic operating system ROS, for educational and research purposes. Web interface allows the user to access a simulated or real environment via the web in real time. Using the web interface, we analyzed the influence of the number of robots on the responsiveness of the system and the differences between the use of simulation and the use of a real system on the responsiveness of mobile robots. When calculating odometry in the simulated environment, the information on velocities and accelerations is more important than the data on the location of robots.
