This thesis deals with the review of existing numerical methods for strength analysis of corrugated carton, on the basis of which we can predict at what load the failure would occur. At the same time, the results of the analysis are validated, using a simple experimental test. Material failure analysis are performed, using the Tsai-Wu failure hypothesis, and structure failures are performed, using buckling analysis. This work presents the necessary preparations of models and input data for numerical simulations. The experimental results show, that with proper preparation of numerical models, we get comparable numerical results.
