Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo se posvetili uporabniškemu vmesniku, s katerim uporabniki komunicirajo z elektronsko avtomatsko ruleto. Uporabniški vmesnik je ključen za zadovoljstvo uporabnikov in posledično za konkurenčno prednost proizvajalca na trgu ter zadovoljstvo operaterjev v igralnicah. Trenutni uporabniški vmesnik je bil potreben večjih popravkov, saj prenova celotnega igralnega mesta predvideva drugačno velikost zaslona (trenutna je 1280 × 1024 px, nova 1920 × 1080 px). Namen diplomskega dela je bil podrobno analizirati in predstaviti trenutni uporabniški vmesnik ter s pomočjo uporabnikov in razvijalcev pridobiti informacije, ki bi bile osnova za razvoj novega uporabniškega vmesnika. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil postavitev nove informacijske arhitekture ter oblikovanje novega uporabniškega vmesnika, ki bi pripomogel k boljši in uporabniku prijaznejši uporabi. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena igra ruleta, razvoj elektronske avtomatske rulete ter vplivi igralništva na različna področja družbe, ki so bili dokazani s strani strokovnjakov z različnimi raziskavami. Predstavljen je tudi pojem uporabnosti in metode ocenjevanja le-te, s katerimi dokazano dosegamo boljše rezultate. Oprli smo se na raziskave, ki potrjujejo boljše rezultate odziva uporabnikov in jih v nadaljevanju upoštevali v eksperimentalnem delu, v katerem je predstavljena analiza trenutnega uporabniškega vmesnika, analiza konkurence in primerjava s konkurenčnimi uporabniškimi vmesniki. Zbiranje podatkov smo nadaljevali z anketiranjem uporabnikov elektronske avtomatske rulete AGT Plus in intervjuvanjem razvijalcev ter na podlagi vseh zbranih informacij pripravili predlog oblikovne rešitve za nov uporabniški vmesnik, ki bi odpravil vse pomanjkljivosti trenutnega uporabniškega vmesnika in obenem konkuriral ostalim uporabniškim vmesnikom na trgu.

Title:
Redesign of the electronic roulette terminal screen
Abstract:
The main topic of diploma thesis is focused on user interface which is used to communicate with electronic automatic gaming roulette. The user interface in crucial for customers' contentment and consequently for competitive edge of the producer on the market and also for the contentment of casino operators. The current user interface needs of larger corrections as the renovation of the whole gaming spot would require a different monitor size (current size - 1280 × 1024 px, new size - 1920 × 1080 px). The purpose of this thesis was in detailed analysis and a presentation of the current user interface and gaining the gamers' and developers' experience to build a new improved user interface. The main goal of this dissertation was the development of a new information architecture and a new user interface which would lead to a better and more user-friendly experience. The theoretical part contains the presentation of the roulette game, the development of the electronic automatic roulette and the influence of gaming industry on different aspects of social life proven by experts in many different studies. The concept of usefulness and methods of evaluation which are proven to help us in achievement of better results are also presented in that part. The theoretical part is based on the studies which confirm better results and have been used later on in the experimental part. In that part we present the analysis of the current user interface, the analysis of the competition and the comparison with other competitive user interfaces. The collection of data was continued by interviewing AGT Plus electronic automatic roulette’s users and developers. The collected data was used as a base for the development of the graphic solution for a new improved user interface which will eliminate all the disadvantages of the current user interface and also present a powerful competitor to other competitive user interfaces on the market.
