Abstract
Zaključna naloga obravnava uporabnost plošče Raspberry Pi kot platformo za komunikacijo z analogno-digitalnim in digitalno-analognim pretvornikom za merjenje dinamičnih veličin. Naredili smo pregled različnih pretvornikov in izbrali najbolj ustreznega. Razvili smo skripto v programskem jeziku Python za komunikacijo s pretvornikom, jo kalibrirali ter preizkusili njeno delovanje. Z referenčnim merilnim sistemom smo preverili točnost rezultatov. Programska oprema omogoča merjenje in generiranje visoko frekvenčnih signalov in s tem tudi merjenje odziva sistema.

Title:Raspberry Pi based data generation and data acquisition
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the applicability of the Raspberry Pi as a platform for communication with an analog-to-digital and a digital-to-analog converter for measuring dynamic quantities. An overview of different converters was done. We developed software in the Python programming language for communication with the converter, calibrated it and did an operation test. We checked the accuracy of the results with a reference measuring system. The software enables measurement and generation of high-frequency signals and thus also measurement of the system response.
