Abstract
Zaradi negativnega vpliva H₂S na kvaliteto vin, je določanje njegove koncentracije ključnega pomena. Za njegovo določevanje je na voljo veliko različnih metod kot so kolorimetrična analiza z UV-Vis spektrometrom, detekcija s pomočjo kemiluminiscence, plinska in tekočinska kromatografija z masno spektrometrijo ter tekočinska kromatografija visoke zmogljivosti z detekcijo fluorescence, vendar vse niso primerne za določevanje H₂S v vzorcih vina. Znanstveniki so nedavno odkrili nov, poceni in stabilen derivatizacijski reagent N-(3-jodo-2-oksopropil)piren metanamin, ki preko derivatizacije H₂S skupaj s tekočinsko kromatografijo visoke zmogljivosti z detekcijo fluorescence omogoča selektivno določevanje H₂S v vzorcih vina.

Title:Synthesis and reactivity of a pyrenemethylamine derivatization reagent
Abstract:
Because of the negative effect H₂S has on the quality of wines, it is crucial that we can determine its concentration. There are many methods for its determination such as colorimetric analysis with UV-Vis spectrometry, detection with chemoluminescence, gas and liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry and high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection, but they are not all suitable for detection of H₂S in wine samples. Recently the scientists have discovered a new cheap and stable derivatization reagent N-(3-iodo-2-oxopropyl)pyren methanamine. Coupled with the derivatization of H₂S and high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection, the new reagent can enable selective determination of H₂S in wine samples.
