Abstract
Zaključna naloga se ukvarja s trdnostno primerjavo zunanjega rotorja elektromotorja, ki je izdelan z globokim vlekom iz različnih debelin pločevine. Proizvajalec nam je na izbiro ponudil debelini 6 mm in 8 mm. V prvem delu zaključne naloge so zbrani podatki o ventilatorjih, ki jih tak elektromotor poganja. Iz teh podatkov in specifikacij elektromotorja so v nadaljevanju izračunane obremenitve, s katerimi je rotor obremenjen. Iz pridobljenih rezultatov sta izbrana dva kritično obremenjena elektromotorja družine, ki ju podrobneje analiziramo. V drugem delu naloge so izračunane obremenitve upoštevane v programu Ansys Workbench 19.2, kjer izvedemo statično trdnostno analizo izbranih elektromotorjev. Trdnostna analiza pokaže mesta kritičnih napetosti in obliko ter velikost premikov komponent. Rezultati trdnostne analize pokažejo, da ni težava v trdnosti rotorja, ampak se napetosti koncentrirajo predvsem v zvarih.

Title:Inluence of sheet metal thickness on the rotor strenght of an external rotor electric motor
Abstract:
This thesis paper deals with the strength comparison of the outer rotor of an electric motor, which is made by deep drawing from different thicknesses of sheet metal. The manufacturer offered us a choice of sheet metal thicknesses of 6 mm and 8 mm. In the first part of the paper, data of the fans driven by such an electric motor are collected. From these data and the specifications of the electric motor, the loads with which the rotor is loaded are calculated. From the obtained results, two critically loaded electric motors of this family were selected. These two motors were analysed in more detail. In the second part of this thesis paper, the calculated loads are taken into account in the Ansys Workbench 19.2 program, where we perform a static structural analysis of selected electric motors. Structural analysis shows the areas of critical stresses and the shape and magnitude of the deformations of the components. The results show that the problem is not in the strength of the rotor, but the critical stresses are concentrated mainly in the welds.
