Abstract
Rezultate padca tlaka v hladilni cevi smo preverili z empiričnimi korelacijami.

Title:
Numerical simulation of water-cooled divertor target model
Abstract:
The divertor in fusion reactor is exposed to a constant flow of high-energy particles with a heat flux density of about 10 MW/m2. In the development phase of materials and concepts of active cooling of diverter targets, numerical simulations and experiments in an environment similar to the conditions in a fusion reactor must be performed first, usually on scale-down models. In the frame of this work, preliminary numerical simulations of a water-cooled diverter target model were performed, under the conditions corresponding to an experimental facility at the Juliech Research Center (FZJ) in Germany, where an experiment will be also performed later. In this work the design of the target monoblock, the geometry layout, generation of computional mesh and setup of numerical model are presented. The results of the performed computional simulations showed that the maximum temperature of the target monoblock exceeds 1300 °C, and by taking into account the thermal radiation cooling of the surrounding surfaces, it can also be 50 °C lower. The results of the pressure drop in the cooling pipe were verified by empirical correlations.
