Abstract
V zadnjih letih je prišlo do velikega porasta množičnega turizma in posledično do vse večjega števila potovalnih fotografij ter deljenja teh po družbenih omrežijh, predvsem na Instagramu. Družbeno skonstruiran turistični pogled se kaže pri vsakodnevno objavljenih fotografijah, kjer je velik poudarek na estetizaciji in samotnemu izkustvu turistično najbolj obiskanih krajev. Potovalne fotografije na Instagramu predstavljajo smernice, kaj si je vredno ogledati in na kakšen način zabeležiti to izkušnjo. Zaradi zaznanega porasta delitve tovrstnih fotografij sem se odločila, da bom s pomočjo analize fotografij različnih avtorjev poskušala ugotoviti, kakšne so tipične žanrske značilnosti potovalnih fotografij (narave) na Instagramu in kaj lahko sklepamo o turistični izkušnji, ki jo ljudje danes iščejo. Ugotovila sem, da ima pri omenjenem žanru pomembno vlogo položaj posameznika, ki služi kot merilo za okolico, ki ga obdaja ter kaže na globlji odnos do narave, pa tudi izbira barv in uporaba kompozicijskih prvin. Ljudje iščejo predvsem estetsko izkustvo, izpolnitev sanj in želja, ki temelji na predhodno videnih objavah na Instagramu, in kasnejše dokazovanje ter potrjevanje izkustva.

Title:Instagram and contemporary tourist aesthetic experience
Abstract:
In the last few years mass tourism has increased immensely, therefore the number of travel photography is higher than ever before and constantly being shared on social media, especially on Instagram. Socially constructed tourist gaze can be seen through shared photos on daily basis, where aesthetic and solitary gaze in some of the busiest places play an important role. Travel photography on Instagram represents guides for what is worth visiting and how to frame that experience. Because I've noticed the growth of travel photography posts I've decided to analyse photographs of different authors, to find out what are some typical features of travel photography on Instagram and what we can conclude about the tourist experience that people nowadays are longing for. I've discovered, that in this particular photography genre, the positioning of a person plays an important role, for it creates scale in comparison to surroundings and shows deeper connection to nature. The colour choice and the use of composition rules also play an important role. People are mainly searching for aesthetic experience that has previously been encountered on Instagram and the later proving and affirmation of that experience.
