Abstract
V diplomskem delu želimo preveriti, ali je možno povezati dva sistema za upravljanje z zahtevki in na ta način optimizirati komunikacijo v manjšem podjetju, ki se ukvarja z razvojem programske opreme. V prvem delu smo naredili splošni pregled področja komunikacije v manjšem podjetju, ki se ukvarja z razvojem programske opreme, in izpostavili potencialne težave pri komunikaciji z naročnikom. V drugem delu smo se osredotočili na sisteme za upravljanje z zahtevki in naredili kratek pregled brezplačnih rešitev. Preverili smo tudi možnost povezovanja sistemov med sabo in pripravili idejo aplikacije za povezavo naročnikovega in izvajalčevega sistema Jira ter to idejo v nadaljevanju tudi realizirali. Osrednji del diplomske naloge je namenjen predstavitvi načina povezovanja med dvema sistemoma za upravljanje z zahtevki in projekti Jira, načrtovanja in implementacije aplikacije. Predstavili smo implementacijo s pomočjo REST API-ja in spletnih kavljev, v zaključnem delu pa izpostavili nekaj težav, s katerimi smo se srečali, ter možnosti izboljšav in razširitev aplikacije.

Title:
Bi-directional communication between two issue tracking systems
Abstract:
In the thesis we want to check whether it is possible to connect two issue-tracking systems and thus optimize communication in a small software development company. In the first part of the thesis, we have made a general overview of the field of communication in a small software development company and highlighted potential communication trouble with the client. In the second part of the thesis, we have focused on the issue-tracking systems and provided a brief overview of free solutions. We have also examined the possibility of connecting systems with each other and have come up with an idea for an application which connects the Jira systems of the customer and the contractor. The idea has been realized. The main part of the thesis focuses on the methods of connecting two Jira systems, the design and implementation of the application. We have presented the implementation using the REST API and web hooks. In the final part of the thesis, we have pointed out some of the problems we have encountered and have presented possible improvements and expansions of the application.
