Abstract
V zaključni nalogi sem izvedel časovno in ekonomsko primerjavo dveh načinov programiranja kosov na večopravilnih strojih – MillTurn in konvencionalen način programiranja. Najprej sem bolj podrobno spoznal sestavo večopravilnih strojev in glavne razlike obeh načinov programiranja. Spoznal sem tudi delovno okolje CAM programske opreme Mastercam in bolj podrobno raziskal še vse dodatne možnosti MillTurn-a. Kasneje sem na dveh izbranih kosih, ki sta se razlikovala po kompleksnosti, še izvedel časovno primerjavo in rezultate med seboj primerjal. Prav tako je bila izvedena tudi ekonomska primerjava, in sicer koliko časa potrebuje posamezen način programiranja, da povrne investicijske stroške nakupa programske opreme.

Title:Comparison of Millturn and conventional way of CNC programming on multistream machine centers
Abstract:
In this thesis I presented a time and economical comparison between two ways of programming on multistream machines – MillTurn and conventional way of programming. Firstly, I learned how multistream machines are made and how they function with all their capabilities. After that I learned about both ways of programming and discuss the key differences between each of them. I also learned a bit more about CAM software called Mastercam, its user interface and all the possible functions and capabilities of MillTurn. Secondly, I did in depth time comparison between two different CAD models which were differencing in their complexity and size. I also did an economical comparison between the same models and calculated how much time a certain way of programming needs to return all investment funds towards buying a CAM programming software.
