Diplomsko delo obravnava subkulturo hiphopa in njeno glasbeno zvrst rap, ki se je močno razširila v Nemčiji in pri tem pustila svoj vtis na področju nemškega jezika in kulture. V Nemčiji se je razvila nemška različica glasbene zvrsti rap, ki se je močno povzpela na svetovnih glasbenih lestvicah in postala zelo popularna med poslušalci rapa in drugih glasbenih zvrsti. Glasbena zvrst rap ne služi samo za uživanje ampak med drugimi nosi tudi neko udarno sporočilo o družbi, politiki, življenju, potrošništvu ... Rap se je razvil prav zaradi takega sporočila. Začetki rapa segajo v ZDA, kjer so skupine manjšin, skupine Afroameričanov in Latinoameričanov, s svojimi pesmimi protestirale proti takratni družbi in politiki ZDA. S svojimi provokativnimi in udarnimi pesmimi so pripomogli k rasti rapa po celem svetu. V Nemčiji se je rap razvil v bolj agresivno ulično obliko kasneje pa se je začela razvijati tudi bolj sproščena muzika.

Abstract

The Bachelor’s degree discusses the subculture Hip Hop and its musical genre Rap, which has strongly expanded in Germany and has left its influence in the field of the German language and culture. The German version of musical genre Rap evolved in Germany, which has strongly moved up the world musical ladder and has become very popular among the listeners of Rap and other musical genres. The musical genre Rap is not only used for enjoyment but also has some striking message of society, politics, life and consumption. Rap was developed, because of that message. The beginnings of the musical genre Rap started in the USA, where the groups of minorities, groups of Afro-Americans and Latino-Americans protested with their songs against then society and politics of the USA. They aided with their provocative and striking songs in the growth of Rap throughout the world. In Germany Rap was developed in more aggressive street form and later was starting to develop also more relaxed music.
