The preservation and protection of the health of employees in organizations is ensured by appropriate protective and machine equipment, fire safety and health promotion, which are based on the law of Occupational Safety and Health Act and other regulations. Upon the basis of the Act, physical and pshycholosocial risk of factors are regulated. In this way, employees avoid the consequences of risk factors such as absence from work and work-related illnesses.
The main purpose of the thesis was to study the field of occupational safety and health and to investigate the situation in the selected organization in the field of occupational safety and health and to study the risks encountered in the organization. The research was conducted with the survey method that was mediated to employees of the selected organization in physical form.
In a selected organization the study showed that the most common physical risk factor is visual impairment, as a result of the business organization's core involves working with smaller parts that come together and impairing vision. In organization the employee's stress is rarely present, because the pshychosocial risk factors, which would cause stress at work are also rarely present in emplyee's workspace. The promotion of health at the workspace has a positive impact on health of a small number of employees who participated in the survey.
It is recommended that the organization allow employees more breaks to exercise their body and eyes. Noise and air temperature control are also recommended. The promotion of health should include more interesting or creative way of informing about the importance of health and well-being and the ergonomic transformation of the organization with the appropriate tools, in so as far as possible given the job differences.
