Abstract
Sistem upravljanja in kontroliranja izvajanja javnega potniškega prometa temelji na koncesijskih pogodbah in relacijah med upravljavcem (Ministrstvo za infrastrukturo) in prevozniki. V doktorskem delu so predstavljeni procesi ter razvite metodologije optimizacij in simulacije uporabe sodobnih vozil z vidika zmanjšanja uporabe energije in emisij toplogrednih plinov. Ker v sistemu državnega linijskega javnega potniškega prometa 26 prevoznikov opravi na letni ravni 48 milijonov kilometrov s 1100 vozili, predstavljajo rezultati tega dela pomemben prispevek z vidika učinkovitosti upravljanja tega sistema.

Title:System for the management and control of public transport
Abstract:
The system for managing and controlling the operation of public passenger transport is based on concession contracts and relations between the public transport authority (Ministry of Infrastructure) and the contractors (concessionaires). The doctoral thesis presents the processes, the developed methodologies for optimizations, and simulations of the use of modern vehicles in terms of reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. There are currently 26 concessionaires operating in the national public passenger transport system in the Republic of Slovenia, which operate at an annual level of 48 million kilometers with 1100 vehicles. Therefore, the results of this work represent an important contribution in terms of the efficiency of the management of this system.

Keywords:public service obligation, public passenger transport, public transport authority, evaluation criteria, objective function, linear regression, the least sqaures methods, modern vehicle propulsion tehnology, greenhouse gas emissions
