Abstract
V magistrskem delu je obravnavan problem temperaturne segregacije pri vgradnji asfaltnih zmesi. Jedro vsebine je vrednotenje ustreznosti slovenske tehnične regulative glede kontrole temperaturne segregacije, do katere pride zaradi različnega ohlajanja asfaltne zmesi med transportom in vgrajevanjem. V magistrskem delu so najprej na splošno opisane asfaltne zmesi, njihova sestava in klasifikacija. Nato je predstavljena temperaturna segregacija, za katero literatura navaja, da je zelo pogost problem, ki se pojavlja pri vgrajevanju asfaltnih zmesi. Temperaturna segregacija poslabša lastnosti asfaltnih zmesi, zaradi česar se lahko njihova življenjska doba zmanjša tudi za 50 % in več. Vse to vodi v povečanje stroškov, saj je treba asfaltno vozišče predčasno sanirati. V magistrskem delu je predstavljena uporaba infrardeče termografije, ki omogoča učinkovito odkrivanje temperaturne segregacije. Nadalje je proučena slovenska tehnična regulativa v zvezi s kontrolo temperature pri vgrajevanju asfaltnih zmesi. Poleg tega so proučene specifikacije iz ZDA, s Švedske in Norveške, saj so v njih predpisani postopki za kontrolo temperaturne segregacije. Po teoretičnem opisu tematike so predstavljene izvedene meritve temperature. Meritve so se izvedle v okviru projekta odstranitve cestninske postaje Videž na avtocesti A1, kjer se je del avtoceste rekonstruiral. Merjenje temperature je potekalo na več načinov, saj so se uporabljali infrardeči termometer, kontaktni termometer, termovizijska kamera in termoskener. Izvajanje in vrednotenje meritev je potekalo v skladu s slovensko tehnično regulativo in tujimi specifikacijami. Meritve so pokazale, da je med vgrajevanjem prišlo do temperaturne segregacije, ki pa je kontrola, predpisana s slovensko tehnično regulativo, ni uspela v celoti zaznati, kot tudi ne ovrednotiti. Po drugi strani so tuje specifikacije uspešno ocenile temperaturno segregacijo, saj imajo predpisane postopke in merila za vrednotenje omenjenega problema. V zadnjem poglavju magistrskega dela so obravnavani ukrepi, ki se lahko izvajajo v primeru, če do temperaturne segregacije pride, in ukrepi za njeno preprečevanje. V zaključku so podane ugotovitve, komentarji in predlogi za izboljšanje slovenske tehnične regulative.

Title:Temperature Segregation in Asphalt Mixture Placement : master thesis
Abstract:
The master’s thesis addresses the temperature segregation problem in asphalt mixture placement. The core of the content is adequacy evaluation of the Slovenian technical legislation regarding the control of temperature segregation, which occurs due to different cooling of the asphalt mixture during transport and placement. The master's thesis first describes asphalt mixtures in general, their composition and classification. Next, the temperature segregation is presented. Literature reports the latter to be a very common problem that occurs during the placement of asphalt mixture. Temperature segregation impairs the properties of the asphalt mixture, which can reduce its lifetime by as much as 50% or more. All this leads to an increase in costs as the asphalt pavement needs to be repaired prematurely. In the master's thesis the use of an IR thermography, which enables an efficient detection of the temperature segregation, is presented. The Slovenian technical legislation regarding the temperature control during the placement of asphalt mixture is further examined. In addition, specifications from the USA, Sweden and Norway are reviewed, as they set out procedures for controlling temperature segregation. After the theoretical description of the topic, the performed temperature measurements are presented. Measurements were carried out during the project of Videž toll station removal on the A1 highway, where part of the highway was reconstructed. The temperature was measured in several ways, using an IR thermometer, a contact thermometer, a thermal camera and an IR temperature scanner. Measurements were carried out and evaluated in accordance with Slovenian and foreign specifications. Measurements showed that during the asphalt placement temperature segregation occurred, which the control prescribed by Slovenian technical legislation failed to fully detect or evaluate. On the other hand, foreign specifications have successfully evaluated temperature segregation, as they have prescribed procedures and criteria for evaluating the considered problem. The last chapter of the master's thesis addresses measures that can be taken if the temperature segregation occurs and measures that can be taken to prevent it. In the conclusion, findings, comments and suggestions for improving the Slovenian technical legislation are given.
