Abstract
Uvod: Osebe s psihotičnimi motnjami se pogosto zatekajo k socialni izolaciji. Ta neposredno vpliva na pojav depresije, psihotičnih simptomov ter srčno-žilnih bolezni, ki so vse večji napovedovalci umrljivosti oseb s psihotičnimi motnjami. Sočasno uživanje antipsihotičnih zdravil, nezdrav življenjski slog in prehrana negativno vplivajo na duševno zdravje. Nujno je potrebno razvijati ukrepe na področju prehrane, za doseganje in ohranjanje zdravega življenjskega sloga oseb s psihotičnimi motnjami. Namen: Predstaviti dejavnike, ki vplivajo na prehranjevanje oseb s psihotičnimi motnjami. Izpostaviti ključne težave na področju prehrane oseb s psihotičnimi motnjami. Poiskati učinkovite delovno terapevtske strategije, s pomočjo katerih je mogoče področje prehrane oseb s psihotičnimi motnjami izboljšati. Izdelati priročnik s pomočjo katerega bodo osebe s psihotičnimi motnjami lahko same izboljšale svoje prehranske navade. Metode dela: Uporabljena je bila deskriptivna metoda dela in sicer izveden je bil pregled literature na temo uporabnih in učinkovitih strategij na področju prehrane in delovno terapevtskih ukrepov pri osebah s psihotičnimi motnjami. Literatura je bila pridobljena z uporabo slovenske vzajemne bibliografsko-kataložne baze podatkov COBIB.SI in Digitalne knjižnice Univerze v Ljubljani, ki omogočajo dostop do podatkovnih baz PUBMED, ProQuest, ScienceDirect. Rezultati: Ključni izsledki raziskav so pokazali, da prehranjevalni vzorci mediteranske, japonske, ketogene ter pesketarijanske diete pozitivno vplivajo na duševno zdravje, zmanjšajo tveganje za pojav psihotičnih simptomov, prekomerne telesne teže ter srčno-žilnih obolenj. Delovno terapevtske obravnave, ki učinkovito prispevajo k uvajanju vedenjskih sprememb, so koristne in učinkovite pri obvladovanju simptomov psihotičnih motenj ter izboljšujejo in/ali ohranjajo funkcionalno učinkovitost, neodvisnost, varnost ter kakovost življenja oseb s psihotičnimi motnjami. Razprava in zaključek: Ukrepi na področju prehrane pri osebah s psihotičnimi motnjami so nujno potrebne, saj prehrana vpliva na pojav psihotičnih simptomov ter duševno zdravje pri osebah s psihotičnimi motnjami.

Title:Treatment of people with psychotic disorders in the field of nutrition : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: People with psychotic disorders often resort to social isolation. This has a direct effect on depression, psychotic symptoms and cardiovascular desease, which are a increasing announcers of mortality in people with psychotic disorders. At the same time the use of antipsychotic drugs, unhealthy lifestyle and nutrition have a negative impact on mental health. That is why it is imperative to develop nutrition interventions to achive and maintain healthy lifestyle in people with psychotic disorders. Purpose: To present the factors which effect on nutrition habits of people with psychotic disorders. To expose key problems in the field of nutrition of people with psychotic disorders. To find occupational therapy strategies through which the field of nutrition in people with psychotic disorders can be improved. To create a manual whereby people with psychotic disorders can improve their nutrition habits themselves. Methods: Used was descriptive method namely, a literature review was conducted in the field of useful and effective nutritional strategies and occupational therapy interventions in persons with psychotic disorders. The literature was obtained from COBIB. SI and DiKUL which allow access to databases PUBMED, ProQuest, ScienceDirect. Results: Key research findings have shown that dietary patterns of Mediterranean, Japanese, ketogenic and pescetarian diets have positive effects on mental health, reduce the risk of psychotic symptoms, overweight and cardiovascular disease. Occupational therapy treatments that effectively contribute to the introduction of behavioral change are useful and effective to control the symptoms of psychotic disorders, improve and/or maintain the functional efficiency, independence, safety and quality of life of people with psychotic disorders. Discussion and conclusion: Nutrition measures are urgently needed for people with psychotic disorders, because nutrition affects on occurrence of psychotic symptoms and mental health.
