Abstract
V okviru diplomskega dela sem optimiziral sintezo bakrovih(I) koordinacijskih spojin s fosforjevimi ligandi in neokuproinom.

Title:Optimization of synthesis of copper(I) coordination compounds with phosphine ligands and neocuproine
Abstract:
As part of my diploma thesis, I optimized the synthesis of copper(I) coordination compounds with phosphine ligands and neocuproine. I used thriphenylphospine and 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane as the phosphine ligands and neocuproine. The reactions had to be performed in inert atmosphere, due to the instability of copper(I) chloride in air. The aim of the diploma thesis was to develop a synthetic procedure that would be suitable for inclusion in lab work for future students. I characterized the synthesized compounds using NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and CHN elemental analiysis. The results of the analyses showed that syntheses which were performed using chlorinated solvents resulted in better yields. The optimized synthetic protocol is now suitable for inclusion in future laboratory courses.
