Trees were registred on selected parts of Bled central park. We found out, that Bled has variegated tree speciaes (93 different Species and 51 different Genus), with most frequent Yew tree (Taxus baccata). Trees vitality is good. Middle aged and mature trees are prevailing. Every fifth tree on selected parts shows signs of damage, caused by human. Some measures were suggested for damaged trees. Most trees need reduction of tree parts, some need to be cut down. In comparison with past measures, trees are well preserved and are ingrowing. Mean problem about Bled urban trees is, there are no management plans. Last plan on tree planting was in year 1981. Incorrect tree prunning is often seen. Tree statement has changed a lot from last year, seen on tree register. Ice demage caused reducing tree tops. Many trees and shrubs were removed, some young seedlings were planted. Recording trees on selected Bled parts gives us a view on tree sitation. Tree register can be used as basis for planed managing.
