Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava problem izboljšav na področju implementacij arhitektur za spletno označevanje in pri tem kritično ovrednoti standarde, ki jih je vzpostavila delovna skupina organizacije W3C. V povezavi s tem problemom smo najprej pripravili pregled in primerjavo obstoječih rešitev tovrstnih implementacij ter na podlagi tega izbrali trenutno najbolj dovršeno izmed njih. Ta predstavlja osnovo za našo nadgradnjo, v sklopu katere smo se najprej lotili izboljšav na področju sortiranja anotacij in komentarjev v anotacijah, pri tem pa motivacijo iskali v algoritmih, ki jih uporabljajo največja družbena omrežja. Poleg sortiranja smo preučili tudi načine rangiranja posameznih komentarjev in možnost verzioniranja anotacij. Pri tem smo spremljali merljive metrike in odzivnost posameznih poizvedb. Rezultat diplomske naloge predstavlja prototip v obliki nadgradnje ene izmed obstoječih odprtokodnih rešitev na področju spletnega označevanja.

Title:Web annotations architecture implementation
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the problem of improvements in the field of web annotation architectures and critically evaluates the standards that were set by the W3C organisation's Working Group. First, we prepared a review and comparison of currently available solutions of such implementations and selected the one that we found was the most technologically profound of all. This implementation was the basis for our upgrade, in which we made some initial improvements in the area of sorting annotations and annotation comments. Those improvements were based on our review of similar algorithms, which are used by the largest social networks. In addition to sorting, we also examined the ways of ranking individual comments and options of annotation versioning. In this context, measurable metrics and the responsiveness of individual queries were monitored. The result of the thesis is a prototype, which is an upgrade of one of the existing open source solutions in the field of web annotations.
