Abstract
Glavni namen magistrske naloge je primerjati šolsko svetovalno delo v Sloveniji in v Španiji. V prvem, teoretičnem delu naloge, smo opredelili šolsko svetovalno delo, ki mu sledi opis področja šolskega svetovalnega dela tako v Sloveniji kot v Španiji in v avtonomni pokrajini Kastilji in Leonu. V empiričnem delu smo se osredotočili na primerjavo obeh sistemov šolskega svetovalnega dela. Raziskovali smo, kako je šolsko svetovalno delo organizirano v Sloveniji in v Kastilji in Leonu na ravneh ISCED 0, 1, 2 in 3, kateri pravni akti in strokovni dokumenti urejajo področje šolskega svetovalnega dela, kdo lahko opravlja delo šolskega svetovalnega delavca in katere so njegove naloge ter katere so temeljne dejavnosti in načela šolske svetovale službe. Z analizo zakonodaje, strokovnih dokumentov ter druge pripadajoče literature smo ugotovili nekatere podobnosti in nekatere razlike med obema državama. V obeh državah je šolsko svetovalno delo doživelo razcvet v drugi polovici 20. stoletja. Vidna razlika je v sami ureditvi šolskega svetovalnega dela, ki je v Sloveniji organizirano znotraj šol, medtem ko v Španiji delujejo tudi specializirane zunanje svetovalne službe, sicer pa je pri obeh pomemben timski in interdisciplinarni pristop. Obe ureditvi imata podobno zasnovane naloge in načela ter oba sistema poudarjata pomembnost šolske svetovalne službe za kakovostno delo in življenje na šoli.

Title:Comparison of school counseling in Spain and in Slovenia
Abstract:
The main focus of this master's thesis is the analysis of school counseling in Slovenia and in Spain and its comparison. The first part of this thesis is devoted to the definition of school counseling, which is followed by the description of school counseling in Slovenia and in Spain and as well in Castile and Leon. The empirical part of the thesis compares both systems of school counseling. The main goal of our research was to compare the system of school counseling in Slovenia and in Castile and Leon, comparing its organization within the framework ISCED 0, 1, 2 and 3, comparing its legally binding acts and other technical documents, the schooling and the role of the school counselor, the scope of actions and the principles of the school counseling. The document analysis showed some differences and similarities between the two countries. In both countries the system of school counseling has seen a rapid growth in the second half of the 20th Century. The main difference is in the organization of school counseling, which in Slovenia forms an integral part of the education system, whereas in Spain school counselors can work within the schools or in specialized external institutions. The two systems are based on team and interdisciplinary work. Also they have similar tasks, principles and they both stress the importance of school counseling for quality education.
